About Us
The Oasis of Hope Second Chance Thrift Shop was created to support the mission of Oasis of Northwest Arkansas. Oasis provides safe and sober housing and resources for women in recovery and their children.
Oasis of Hope also provides a dignified shopping experience -- free of charge -- for men and women in recovery as they work to rebuild their lives.
Oasis of Hope was built almost exclusively by men and women in recovery and their families. We chose recycled, repurposed, and recovered materials in our shop to share simple but important message: everything can be restored and be made new.
The Oasis of Hope Second Hand Thrift Shop exclusively employs men and women in recovery and provides important job skill training in areas such as communication, critical thinking, patience, technical skills, and organization.
Oasis of Hope also provides community service hours and volunteer opportunities for anyone in the Northwest Arkansas Community.
Additionally, we showcase hand-made items by men and women in recovery.
